Depression is very real. Mysympathy goes out to all those who are suffering from depression. Iknow from personal experience that depression is something you can overcome. Aftermuch searching and suffering, I finally found the right things to help me cope. Ihope you will find the same things that helped me. Theseare my top three tips, and I'd be happy to share them.
- Keep your head high. This is difficult. Depressed people find it even more difficult. It is possible to escape this hole if one remains positive. Positive attitudes can give you the potential to find the answer and the motivation to keep looking until you find it.
- Remember that you are a human being. You can be either a man or a woman. You can be a father, a mother or a son. You don't need to be depressed. If you do what you want, you aren't depressed. It doesn't matter how depressed you feel. Depression can be a terrible thing, but it doesn't have to define you. At best, it can dictate how you feel. Only you can decide who you really are.
- Depression is already difficult enough. You don't need more negativity. You should not be in the company of pessimistic people who doubt that you can overcome depression. There is a solution, and you must find it. Don't be downers.
